Hello everyone !
As part of the celebrations of the International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, UNMAS (United Nations Mine Action Service) is organizing a risk education Tshukudu relay race on Sunday 2 April in Goma.
We would like to invite you all to participate and have fun with us while advocating for safer behaviours around explosive hazards.
– Number of people per team: 5
– Meeting point: ISC (Airtel round-about)
– Arrival time for teams: 9.00 am at the ISC for registration and distribution of Tshukudus
– Start time of the race: 10.00 am
– Total distance: 8-10 kilometers (approx.)
If you are willing to participate and have found your team, please send me an email (loreneg@unops.org) no later than March 15th so I can register your team.
Feel free to add people I may have missed. There is a limit to the number of teams we can accept to the race for logistical reasons so the sooner you register the better!
If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Looking forward to hear from you all!
On est ensemble !
